For as long as she can remember, she’s spent large portions of her day in dance studios. She began dancing at the age of three, and it has been her passion ever since. She focused on ballet, and in high school joined the highly respected dance team, Emerald Belles, who were known throughout the state of Texas for their high kicks. Going off to college to study Anatomy and Physiology at Cal Poly to further her knowledge about the human body and health, Andrea missed her normally full dance schedule, which pushed her to continue her dance education at the university. College dance classes didn't have the same studio atmosphere, but they helped her to fill the void for a few years.

Once she graduated, Andrea moved to the East Bay to be an office manager at a small marketing company. To keep in shape she tried regularly hitting the gym, which became difficult for her; She missed being in that family-like studio atmosphere that made exercising the best part of the day, and the peace-of-mind that the dance classes would give her as a result of the concentration she needed to perform the moves. While working her full time job, her motivation to stay active outside of the long office hours was dwindling and this new lifestyle began taking a toll on her body and energy levels. A little less than a year later, she began to notice the growing interest in barre classes, and immediately began taking classes. It was comforting and exciting to be back in a studio atmosphere and she began to see results immediately! It had been years since she woke up energized everyday and her body was finally being re-sculpted into the dancers' look that she had lost. She couldn't get enough!

It became her dream to instruct and open her own studio so that she could watch her efforts greatly improve the lives of those around her. After about a year of training, planning, and learning the ins-and-outs of running a business, the studio is finally open as of December 1st, 2015, and she could not be more excited!

On top of 22 years of dance experience and a B.S. in Anatomy/ Physiology, she is also ACE certified as a group fitness instructor to provide you with the highest quality instruction so that your barre experience will be as positive as hers was.

Tamalyn has been thoroughly trained in Barre and Yoga, and has been working all around the East Bay incorporating a variety of styles she has practiced over the years. She is also experienced in TRX and Sculpt, and believes in the importance of using an alignment and safety based method with all of her students as a foundation for all of her classes.

A few fun facts about Tamalyn… she loves to be outdoors, going hiking with her dog, and being active in any way possible! She loves upbeat music and dancing, so Barre is the perfect way for her to get her dance fix in on a daily basis!

She is passionate about fitness and loves that it is a way to get in tune with your body and to create a healthy relationship with it. If done in the right way, she strongly believes in its way to gain self-confidence and to be an all-around healthier person!

What she loves most about being a Barre and Yoga instructor is how she constantly learns new things about herself and other people. She plans on being actively involved in the fitness world for the rest of her life!

Jaclyn Pinasco

Jaclyn is a weekend warrior who spends her spare time scaling the granite peaks in Yosemite. When she's not backpacking or rock climbing you can find her hanging out with her house plants or in her garden, expressing her creative side through painting and ceramics, or cooking up a storm in the kitchen. She comes from a long background in athletics and health. As a collegiate volleyball player, Jaclyn knows what it means to work hard and dedicate every ounce of effort you have to get the most out of each workout. Her degree in kinesiology has been the building blocks behind her passion for teaching people how to live a healthier lifestyle. She believes wellness is multidimensional, therefore she works hard to help her clients improve in all aspect of their life.

Her plan for HIIT Barre is to make you work hard and show you that our minds really are what stops us from reaching our goals. Once we are able to shut down the negative thoughts, barriers that you never thought possible will break down and goals that you've only hope to come close to will be reached. Walking away, with a little shake in your legs, from class will leave you feeling an overdose of endorphins. She looks forward to helping you become the best version of yourself!

Stephanie developed her love for barre and body mechanics in LA, where she found barre to be a welcomed escape from work and school. Among other hidden talents, she is a both a professional and competitive dancer, and barre singlehandedly helped her achieve advanced floorwork techniques & tricks that she had previously never been able to do. She was so passionate about barre that she trained, studied, and practiced to become a teacher herself to spread her own love of the workout and watch other people see the results! When asked why she loves barre so much, she says, "It's such an extremely time-efficient way to strengthen supporting muscles which will not only decrease likelihood of injuries but will greatly enhance other workouts and functional everyday activities. Most importantly, learning how to become a master of your body is what makes it so much FUN!" We couldn't agree more! Now that she's back in the Bay Area, she will be HERE, pulsing and shaking with us.

Tamara has been teaching barre since 2009, and other forms of group fitness for even longer. She currently teaches spin as well, but believes nothing has changed her body as much as barre did. She loves how gentle it is on the body while also being extremely effective. Her classes are tough and inspiring – she will push you more than you thought you could be pushed, and crack a few jokes along the way!
